AN inspection at a Welsh hospital’s accident and emergency unit has highlighted worries regarding the “safety and condition of equipment’

Healthcare Inspectorate Wales (HIW) released its findings after an unannounced three-day visit to the emergency department at Bronglais Hospital in Aberystwyth during July.
The report pinpoints various areas needing improvement “to protect patient safety’, while commending the commitment and expertise of staff working under “considerable pressure” in the A&E unit.
