HOTEL SOLD FOR FIRST TIME IN OVER 100 YEARS

Gwynedd hotel was opened back in 1904
AN "iconic" North Wales hotel has been sold for the first time in over 100 years. The Trefeddian Hotel in Aberdyfi opened back in 1904 - in a project by builder and landowner, Edward Morgan.
It then came into the Cave Browne Cave family’s ownership in 1907.
They have been its custodians since then but placed it on the market last year at a guide price of £7.5 million.
The 59-bedroom hotel has now been sold to BLS UK Hotels Ltd, part of a wider international hospitality group seeking to expand its presence in the UK.
The sale was handled by Colliers' specialist Hotels team.
