Fans warned: groaning and moaning can affect team

WREXHAM director Humphrey Ker has pinpointed a crucial issue that could thwart the club's aspirations of promotion to the Championship.
The Red Dragons are tantalisingly close to achieving an extraordinary third promotion in a row.
Manager Phil Parkinson’s squad are currently second in League One as they approach the last two matches this season, holding a two-point lead over Wycombe Wanderers in third and a four-point advantage over Charlton Athletic.
Wrexham are set to clash with Charlton at the Racecourse Ground later today in a fixture that could be pivotal for securing automatic promotion.
Despite Wrexham’s remarkable success over recent seasons, Ker has drawn attention to the sometimes lacklustre atmosphere during home games this term.
As fan expectations have soared, reactions to results such as the 1-1 draw with Bristol Rovers earlier in April have met with some discontent from sections of the crowd.
Ker suggests that this has rippled through to affect the players’ performances on the pitch and has called for supporters to fully back their side in the upcoming game against Charlton.
