Evans sees lead vanish after 'tough weekend'

ELFYN EVANS slipped to second place in the World Rally Championship drivers’ standings after a “tough weekend” on Rally Estonia.
-
The Dolgellau driver finished round eight of the WRC calendar in sixth place. The event was won by his Toyota teammate Oliver Solberg, but title rival Ott Tanak finished second to overtake Evans in the race for the drivers’ title.
The Welshman has 161 points, just one behind Tanak.
