Reds legend Rush pays tribute to tragic Jota
Liverpool and Wales legend Ian Rush shared news of his own personal tragedy as he paid tribute to Diogo Jota and his brother Andre.
Reds star Jota was killed alongside his brother Andre Silva, also a footballer, after the Lamborghin they were travelling in crashed following a suspected tyre blowout in last week in Spain.
Paying a personal tribute to father-of-three Jota and his brother, Rush explained how he was unable to attend the funeral, as his family experienced their own personal loss.
The 63-year-old wrote: “Rest in peace, Diogo and Andre. At Liverpool we have always regarded ourselves as one big family.
“Now one of our family has gone, so we all have to join together and help one another. The last few days have shown that.
