Council lost gritters as fire broke out in depot

AN update has been issued on a council depot fire which led to a number of vehicles being destroyed.
The fire broke out at a Flintshire County Council depot in Alltami on Tuesday, October 14.
Five fire engines were called to battle the blaze at 8.20pm and an investigation was launched into the cause, which has been identified as being sparked by a "faulty recycling truck". Six vehicles were also confirmed "lost" in the blaze.
