Child rapist jailed for 15 years for his 'remorseless' attacks

A MAN who raped one girl and sexually assaulted another has been jailed for a total of 15 years.

Kevin Neil Jones targeted two victims - one a young girl and an older teenage girl.

A jury at Mold Crown Court convicted the 41-year-old of six offences last month. Yesterday, a judge said he had shown no remorse but his crimes had had a serious effect on the young victims.

The court heard Jones, of Bryneglwys Road, Wrexham, committed five offences - including two rapes - against one girl aged less than 13 years old.

He committed a sixth offence against an older teenager, aged less than 18 years old.

Neither can be identified because victims of sexual crimes are entitled to lifetime anonymity.
