Bradley to start but full-back is issued challenge

ARNE SLOT has confirmed Conor Bradley will start against Arsenal as Liverpool prepare for life without Trent Alexander-Arnold.

And the Reds boss steered away from comparing the departing England international with Bradley, who has been tipped to become a vital player for the club in the coming years.

Alexander-Arnold confirmed on Monday he would be leaving after a 20-year association and is expected to join Real Madrid when his contract expires at the end of June.

Slot says Bradley is now poised to end the season as the club's first-choice right-back.

But Slot also laid down a challenge to the 21-year-old Northern Ireland international, insisting he must prove his long-term fitness to fulfil his undoubted potential.

"Let's not compare him with Trent already," Slot said of Bradley. "They are two different types.
