APPEAL TO HELP BAR DAMAGED IN STORM

AN appeal has been set up in aid of a popular seaside bar damaged by Storm Bram.

Micky’s Lounge Bar on West Parade in Rhyl has been forced to temporarily close due to roof damage and leaks near electricity supply.Now the operator's daughter has set up a Gofundme appeal to raise £2,200.

Destiney Hollis, whose mum Michelle Mellor, 25, runs Micky’s Lounge Bar, said the damage was caused by Storm Bram or recent bad weather or a combination of both.

She said: "The hope is to get a quick temporary fix so we can open and then hopefully sort a more permanent solution."
