Much awaited new Volkswagen Golf GTI and special edition Polo Vivo to land in SA

FOLLOWING a lengthy delay, the Volkswagen Golf 8.5 GTI is on its way to South Africa, and fans will get to see it at this weekend's Festival of Motoring (FOM) at Kyalami Raceway, alongside a new special edition Polo Vivo.
The facelifted Volkswagen Golf GTI was first revealed internationally in January 2024, but it has been delayed due to fuel quality concerns. However, it appears that the latest tests have produced positive results, and the vehicle is expected to reach our shores before the end of 2025.
