WISE WORDS ON STARS OF THE FUTURE

CHELSEA legend Dennis Wise reckons his former side are building a team of youngsters capable of fighting for the Premier League title and making a big impact in the Champions League.

And Wise backs Alejandro Garnacho (above), 21, to play a key role in their pursuit of silverware, with Enzo Maresca tasked with unlocking the potential of the Manchester United misfit.

Blues boss Maresca won the Europa Conference League and the Club World Cup in his debut season and Wise has backed them to add to that this term.

Wise (below) said: “The confidence Chelsea gained from winning the Club World Cup and the Conference League has put them in a strong position to compete. I was out there at the Club World Cup, lucky enough to watch some of the games.
