Watkins killing: One in court

A MAN has denied murdering paedophile rock singer Ian Watkins in a prison attack.

Disgraced Watkins, 48, was stabbed in the neck at the high-security HMP Wakefield on October 11.

Yesterday, Samuel Dodsworth, 43, an inmate at the prison, pleaded not guilty to murder after appearing in court via video link.

At the plea and case management hearing, he also denied possession of a "makeshift knife" in prison.
