Wanna be restarting somethin'?

POP legend Michael Jackson could return to the charts from beyond the grave with new music created for the soundtrack to a biopic about his life.

Producers of Michael, which will star his nephew Jaafar Jackson, 28, son of Jermaine, in the lead role, have been reviewing music, and compositions left over from the Thriller, Bad and Dangerous albums.

Insiders claim the goal is for a composition to win a Best Song Oscar, a prize that eluded Jackson when he was alive.

British producer Graham King is behind the biopic, which is planned for release early in 2026.
