Andrews' men can look down on Frank at their reunion

- BY STEVE JUDGE

IT WILL be a big point of pride for Brentford fans that they will be above Tottenham when Thomas Frank returns to the Gtech Stadium on Thursday.

But for players such as Mathias Jensen, who owes his career in England to his fellow Dane, it is not such a big deal.

He said: "We don't really care about the table. We are only halfway through the season.

"Yeah [it is a good sign] but we also know how tight it is, so in two games we can be down the bottom again, this is how it is."

That is not how it feels for those watching in the stands, and certainly not the revisionists online questioning Frank's credentials due to the performances Brentford have put in under Keith Andrews (right).

The Bees were tipped to go down after Frank and leading players Bryan Mbeumo, Yoane Wissa and Christian Norgaard left in the summer.

Instead, the thrashing of Bournemouth lifted them to their best Premier League points tally after 18 games.
