ARNE SLOT has challenged his players to prove they have finally adapted to a summer of sweeping change when they face Manchester United at Anfield tomorrow.

The Reds’ transfer window was a historic one, as they spent a record sum of close to £450million.

That splurge included breaking the British transfer record twice as £116m playmaker Florian Wirtz was followed by Alexander Isak at £125m.

Liverpool recouped around half of that in sales as eight players were signed and 10 departed.
