SAM READY FOR HULL OF A SCRAP
April 12, 2025
|Daily Mirror UK
SAM BURGESS believes Warrington are improving but he admitted: “We're nowhere near where we want to be.”
Wolves today host a Hull FC side who have made massive strides this year under new coach John Cartwright.
A raft of impressive new recruits during the winter and a strong start to the season has seen the Black and Whites shape up as Super League play-off candidates.
Warrington boss Burgess said: "Hull have been great, haven't they?
"They've recruited really well with a lot of experienced players who know how to stay in the contest.
"It's a great challenge for us and we're looking forward to it.
"But then again, it's hard to find an easy challenge because there aren't many knocking about and that's brilliant for Super League.
