RUSSIA has expelled a UK embassy diplomat in Moscow after accusing him of being a spy.

Russia's foreign ministry said it had details about “the affiliation of a diplomatic employee...with the British secret service.”

British charge daffaires, Danae Dholakia, was summoned over the matter and the diplomat was stripped of accreditation and given two weeks to leave the country.
