Ready to take place in global politics

KEIR Starmer and his wife Vic will be guests at the White House tonight as they make their debut on the world stage.

Mr Starmer, who spoke in the Commons as PM for the first time yesterday, will hold talks with President Biden in the Oval Office this afternoon, where they will recommit to the Special Relationship. The Starmers will then attend a White House dinner for world leaders hosted by the President and his wife Jill.

The Prime Minister will also attend a summit marking the 75th anniversary of Nato.
