Pub Rex's sanctuary after loss of owner

A dog who escaped to a pub after his owner was killed in a car crash has made the boozer his permanent home.

Shih-tzu Rex ran into The Leaping Wolf in Wolverhampton two years ago, surprising football-watching locals.

At first, they assumed he had strayed from a nearby house, but it soon became clear there was more to his story.
