NHS organ donor law's Max toasts 18th party

THE boy who inspired a law change on organ donation has turned 18.

Max Johnson received a heart from donor Keira Ball when he was nine.

Max and Keira's law, named in their honour and which he pushed for while ill, came into effect in 2020.

It means adults in England are considered organ donors when they die unless they opt out.
