New man moved in after 3 months and my son hates him

I'm divorced with a son aged nine. A year ago, I met a man (also divorced with two daughters) and things moved fast and he moved in three months later.

It felt right - we fell head over heels and had loads in common - juggling exes and kids. At first things were fine, but now my son can't stand him, and my partner isn't great with him either and has no patience.

I've noticed he picks up my son on every little thing and it upsets me if he tells him off. He's more relaxed when his daughters are staying with us but, when it's just the three of us, it's tense. My son resents him being there.

I'm in love and things could be perfect, but right now it's hard. I feel very guilty that my son is unhappy and keeps saying he wants to live with his dad. What should I do?
