More ops in NHS doctors' latest strike

MORE than 11,000 more operations and appointments went ahead in last month's resident doctors strike than in a similar five-day walkout in 2024.

NHS England said staff absences were also lower in the latest pay dispute, with 1,243 fewer absent each day on average.
