NUCLEAR test veterans have handed the Ministry of Defence "a ticking time bomb" by lodging a criminal complaint.

A long list of officials have been accused of misconduct in public office over a campaign to cover up radiation experiments on troops during the Cold War.

The Met Police are now assessing a 500-page dossier of evidence collated by the Mirror during its three-year probe into the nuke blood scandal.

John Morris, who has had cancer and a 60-year blood disorder after serving at Christmas Island during nuke tests, has medical records missing results of blood tests and X-rays from before, during and after his service.
