Man jailed for trying to kidnap teen girl

A MAN has been jailed for attempting to kidnap a teenage girl in the street.
The victim, 17, was walking home alone from work when Adbulmawal Ibrahim Adam, 28, tried to talk to her, a court heard.
He began to drag her away as she screamed “Help, someone please help”, the hearing was told.
George Threlfall, prosecuting, said one witness saw a man “with his arms over her upper body dragging her across the road, looking petrified”.
