Louisa death trial: Scream heard before body found

A WOMAN was heard screaming on the night of an alleged rape and murder 58 years ago, a court was told yesterday.

Mum-of-two Louisa Dunne, 75, was found dead at home on June 28, 1967.

Ryland Headley, 92, is on trial after cold case police found DNA from semen on her skirt was a billion-to-one match to him.

Statements made at the time by former neighbours in Bristol were yesterday read out to jurors.
