Southport murders dance class teacher slams authorities

A DANCE teacher who was stabbed as she saved children in the Southport attack has said she was let down by organisations which should keep the public safe.

Leanne Lucas, 36, was stabbed in the neck, back and arms as she rushed little girls away from knife maniac Axel Rudakubana and dialled 999.

The yoga instructor had organised the Taylor Swift-themed workshop where Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, Bebe King, six, and Alice da Silva Aguiar, nine, were murdered by Rudakubana, now 19.
