TYPICALLY, Trump has spun his Christmas Day airstrikes on Islamic State targets as revenge for attacks on Christians.

He has threatened for months to do this in a bid to stop the blood spilling by terrorists in Nigeria.

Trump is claiming the targeted group exclusively attacks Christians and it cannot be coincidence that the US strikes happened on Christmas Day.

But the terrorist violence has been against both Christians and Muslims.

Nigeria, desperate for military aid, has gone along with the story, saying the action was a joint venture.
