Food star Anna Haugh & critic Grace Dent in MasterChef role

MASTERCHEF veterans Grace Dent and Anna Haugh have been confirmed as new presenters of the BBC show's amateur version.

Their appointments follow the axing of Gregg Wallace and John Torode.

They will become the first all-female team to front any of the MasterChefs - amateur, celebrity or professional.

Viewers will get to see top Irish chef and restaurateur Anna in action alongside Torode later this month, when she co-hosts two episodes in the final week of the series currently airing on BBC1.

She was drafted in after Wallace stepped down last year. A probe later upheld 45 allegations of inappropriate behaviour and comments.
