Gerrard: Fix the roof and also the Flor

STEVEN GERRARD believes Liverpool are right to be spending big on Florian Wirtz as the Reds should "fix the roof while the sun is shining.

The former Liverpool midfielder is excited by the club's transfer business this summer. They have already confirmed the signing of right-back Jeremie Frimpong in a £29million deal from Bayer Leverkusen.
