FANS groups have blasted World Cup ticket prices as we reveal seats being sold for more than £37,000 on Fifa's website.

Secondary sales sites are also offering tickets for host nation America's opening game next summer at hugely inflated prices.

And Fifa’s own resale site had tickets for the final in New Jersey on July 19 on offer from £13,423 to £37,279 with group draws played across the US, Canada and Mexico yet to be made.

England confirmed their qualification for the finals on Tuesday by thrashing Latvia 5-0 away in Riga.

One England fan living in Los Angeles told us: “The World Cup will be like other big sporting events here, for high rollers only. It will be like the Super Bowl and the baseball World Series. Fifa must act now to ensure that doesn’t happen, or stadiums will be half empty.
