UK joins 23 other countries calling for life-saving action
A HORRIFYING famine is “unfolding before our eyes” in Gaza, a coalition of western countries declared yesterday.
The UK, 20 European nations, Canada, Australia and Japan have demanded Benjamin Netanyahu’s Israeli government allow unrestricted aid into the territory.
The joint statement by foreign ministers said: “The humanitarian suffering in Gaza has reached unimaginable levels.
