FLYING filly Elmalka will bid to follow up her shock 1,000 Guineas victory at Royal Ascot.

Roger Varian confirmed the daughter of Kingman will sidestep the Irish 1,000 Guineas next weekend in favour of the Coronation Stakes in June 

She will try to join an elite band of fillies who have won the Guineas and the Group One contest at the royal meeting including Russian Rhythm, Attraction and Sky Lantern.
