COSMIC YEAR is the new 2-1 favourite for the Irish 2,000 Guineas at the Curragh three weeks today after defending his unbeaten record in style at Newmarket yesterday.

Connections chose to swerve this afternoon's 2,000 Guineas with the son of Kingman and Group 1 heroine Passage Of Time, who followed an impressive winning debut at Sandown last September with a five-length comeback success at Kempton last month.
