Ruben rips into United accusing them of not caring and says he may not be man for job

RUBEN AMORIM said he is "embarrassed" by Manchester United's league position - and admitted he may not be the manager to turn them around.

United slumped to their 17th league defeat this season - the most they have suffered since they were relegated in 1974 and Amorim admitted there are deep-rooted problems at the club.

The manager accused his players of not caring if they lose and accepted that his job will be at risk if he cannot transform United's dismal form this season.

Asked how he felt about United's position, Amorim said: "How a manager of Manchester United is supposed to feel in that position - embarrassed. It's hard to accept.
