AJ DRIVER IN COURT

THE man driving when a crash killed two of Anthony Joshua's closest friends has appeared in court charged over the tragedy.

Two-time world boxing champion Joshua, 36, was in the back of a black Lexus SUV when it hit a stationary truck on a major road near Nigeria's largest city Lagos on December 29.

His friends Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami were killed. Ghami was Joshua's strength and conditioning coach and trainer Ayodele was described as being like a twin brother to the fighter.

Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, 46, has been charged with dangerous driving causing death, reckless and negligent driving, driving without due care and attention and driving without a valid national driving licence. The case was adjourned until February 25 at the prosecution's request.
