BARGAIN hunters are set to go on a £3.4billion Black Friday spree today.

Shops and online stores are banking on a boost to sales as they double down on deals.

Retailers have been running Black Friday reductions for a week or more to entice customers and to steal a march on rivals.

Accountants PwC UK predicts spending over the Black Friday period as a whole will be up 1.5% this year at £6.4bn.
