Entries are now being accepted for the WPBA All-Island Open Badminton Championships 2025, known as the 'Western Shuttle Blitz 2025', which is scheduled to be held from July 5 to 13 at few key venues in and around Colombo.

Organised by the Western Province Badminton Association (WPBA) under the sanction of Sri Lanka Badminton (SLB), the nine-day championship is expected to attract all top-ranked local shuttlers, who will compete under different categories.

While the Mercantile Badminton Trust at Malalasekara Mawatha, Colombo 7 serves as the main venue, Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) and Lumbini College Indoor Sports Complex have also been named as competition venues for the annual packed tournament of WPBA.
