Mahanama and Royal clash for final slot

Mahanama College and Royal College will clash in the first semifinal of the Under 19 Division One Tier 'A' inter-school limited overs tournament today at the FTZ ground at Katunayake.
In the run-up to the semifinal, Mahanama led by Dulnith Sigera ended their first round matches with an unbeaten record with four wins from the five matches that they played. They recorded wins against Gurukula MV Kelaniya, St Servatius College, Matara, St Peter's College and Thurstan College while the match against S. Thomas' College ended in a draw.
Mahanama succeeded in ending their campaign with an unbeaten record and in the process came out as the best team in their group. In the quarter final they defeated Prince of Wales College.
