Isipathana College's Under-14 boys' team, captained by Abdul Malik, emerged runners-up in the U-14 Inter-Schools Boys/Girls Hockey Servo Challenge Trophy boys' category, showcasing their talents with splendid performances throughout the tournament.

They went down to Elwala Vidyalaya in a single-series penalty shootout in a thrilling final after the game ended in a draw.

The tournament was organised and conducted by the Matale Hockey Club, sponsored by Servo, and played in Matale recently.
