The «Criminal _—_ Investigation Department (CID) has issued an urgent warning to the public about fraudulent schemes targeting WhatsApp users through fake calls and messages aimed at stealing One-Time Passwords (OTP.

Police said cyber criminals are using unauthorised WhatsApp communications, including voice calls and deceptive text messages, to trick individuals into sharing their OTPs.
