Sri Lanka welcomes 2 millionth visitor for 2025

SRI Lanka reached a significant milestone yesterday by welcoming its two millionth visitor of the year, a symbolic achievement that strengthens the country's outlook for reaching at least 2.3 million arrivals by year-end.

The accomplishment brings the industry closer to Sri Lanka Tourism's revised annual target of 2.6 million visitors.

The landmark arrival underscores the resilience and renewed global appeal of Sri Lanka as a multifaceted destination, renowned for its cultural heritage, biodiversity, beaches, adventure experiences and wellness offerings.
