SLC unveils state-of-the-art swimming pool facility at NHPC

SRI Lanka Cricket President Shammi Silva in conversation with Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Sunil Kumara Gamage and Deputy Minister of Sports Sugath Thilakaratne during the opening Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) yesterday unveiled a state-of-the-art eight-lane swimming pool at the National High Performance Centre (NHPC), located at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium (RPICS), Colombo.

The new facility was officially declared open by the Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Sunil Kumara Gamage upon the invitation of Sri Lanka Cricket President Shammi Silva.
The occasion was graced by several distinguished guests including Deputy Minister of Sports Sugath Thilakaratne and Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs Anuradha Illeperuma. Also present were SLC's Executive Committee members and office-bearers among them Vice Presidents Dr. Jayantha Dharmadasa and Ravin Wickramaratne, Secretary Bandula Dissanayake, and Treasurer Sujeeva Godaliyadda.
