SLASSCOM launches training program to bridge management gaps in Sri Lanka's IT sector

SLASSCOM has rolled out a specialised training program to address critical gaps in mid-level management within the IT sector.

Developed in collaboration with senior leaders from leading tech companies, the initiative is designed to equip IT professionals particularly those moving from technical roles into management with the skills needed to become effective future leaders and drive sustainable growth in the industry.
The program offers over 60 hours of training, enabling participants to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios and engage in insightful discussions. The program features a panel of 11 trainers and 10 industry experts, including CxO-level professionals, and is evenly split between virtual and in-person sessions. The program is delivered in two phases. Phase I focuses on Leading Self and Leading Teams, while Phase II emphasises Leading Customers and Driving Innovation
