MAJOR CLUB WOMEN'S LIMITED OVER TOURNAMENT
NAVY SC, Air Force SC and Chilaw Marians CC maintained their unbeaten record in the Major Club Women’s Limited Over tournament recording their second victory in as many matches yesterday.
In a low scoring game at Welisara, Navy SC beat Panadura SC by 6 wickets. Left-arm spinner Hashini Liyanage ran through the Panadura SC batting for 75 with figures of 4/10 off 7 overs. Navy SC lost four wickets overhauling that total in the 20th over, three of them falling to left-arm spinner Yasanthi Herath.
