TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLD will leave Liverpool for Real Madrid tomorrow, with the Premier League champions benefitting to the tune of £10million.
Alexander-Arnold, 26, was under contract until June 30 but Liverpool have struck a deal with the Spanish club to release him early so he can feature in this summer's Club World Cup. The £10m is a combination of an £8.4m payment from Real now managed by former Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso to secure Alexander-Arnold's services early, and money saved on four weeks' wages of about £1.6m. The England international has signed a six-year deal worth more than £220,000 per week.
