'We've got grit to tough it out'

EARL HAILS ENGLAND'S POWERS OF RECOVERY

BEN EARL insists England head to Murrayfield knowing they can complete any Mission Impossible set by Finn Russell and his Scotland team-mates.

England's comeback from 14-5 down at half-time to win 16-14 against Wales on Saturday was their biggest second-half Six Nations recovery at Twickenham.

And it was their best in any game since Martin Johnson's beat great team Australia 32-31 at HQ in 2002, after trailing 31-19 to the Wallabies clashes England have won only one of their past six against Scotland, in 2020 at Murrayfield, and have struggled after falling behind.

But back row Earl believes they now have the tools to win - even if fly-half Russell gets Scotland in front a week on Saturday.
