Villagers rudely awakened by 'Lotus Rally'

THE roar of Lotus workers' engines is being blamed for disturbing villagers' sleep and threatens the sports car giant's £8billion redevelopment plan.

Residents living near the Lotus plant in Hethel, Norfolk, claim they are being woken up in the early hours by staff heading home from night shifts.
The noisy nightly commute has been dubbed the "Lotus Rally" with around "30 to 40 vehicles driving at excessive speeds".
