THE retiring chief constable of Merseyside has spoken of the “horrific” abuse she received after the Southport killings of three girls last year.
Serena Kennedy also branded claims of a two-tier policing system “absolute rubbish”.
She became Merseyside’s first female chief constable in 2021.
