Spurs stinker makes it the earliest ever St Totteringham Day
FORMER Arsenal star Alex Iwobi sealed the earliest ever St Totteringham's Day as Fulham outclassed shambolic Spurs.
But after a second London derby defeat in a week for caretaker coach Igor Tudor, Tottenham now have bigger embarrassments to avoid.
With 10 games to go, the Europa League holders are in serious danger of being relegated for the first time since 1976-77.
Keep playing like the first 60 minutes of this shameful surrender — before a pointless late rally - and they will go down. It really was that bad.
Igor Tudor had called for “soldiers” before his second game but Tottenham had none.
Spurs fans, who have watched Gareth Bale, Luka Modric, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min in recent years, chanted: “You're not fit to wear the shirt”.
The Fulham faithful responded by taunting: “Say Hello to QPR.”
James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, Mohammed Kudus and Destiny Udogie are among the long-term injury casualties and Cristiano Romero is banned. But Tottenham's decline is not about individual players.
