LABOUR faces fresh fury over its “cruel” inheritance tax raid on farmers after polling found most fear for their business’s survival.

Three-quarters of farmers fear they'll be out of business within the next decade

More than three-quarters (78%) are worried their farm will not make it through the next decade.

When asked who they would vote for at a general election, none said Labour — a damning indictment of its controversial policy to slap a tax bill on farms worth over £1million.

In the poll of 494 farmers for the Country Land and Business Association (CLA), 61% said they had considered selling up and quitting. More than two-thirds (69%) say they will have to sell land or take out loans to keep going.

And 90% have paused investment since the inheritance tax announcement last October.
